It is able to accommodate around 80 students at any one time and has 4 classrooms and 3 marine simulator rooms. This location also has a smoke-house simulator located at a fire training ground and a survival training centre which is leased from an offshore safety training centre nearby. Total area of the centre is around 15,000m2 and located close by to the city area and is within 5 minutes drive to Kota Kinabalu International airport. Licensing and Accreditations are in place. It has approved license for internationally recognized training by the Malaysian Marine Department and license for training claims by employers via the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) and city council license to operate as a business. The business is ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) accredited. The company is also a member of the Malaysia Maritime Education and Training Association MyMET), of which the owner held a senior position (including being it's President from 2018 - 2022) and acted as the focal point in dealing with training matters affecting the industry, with the authority (ie, The Malaysian Marine Department).
The business is currently the only centre in East Malaysia approved to conduct cloud simulation based mandatory training for seafarers, and only one of two centres in the whole of Malaysia approved for both physical and cloud simulation training. They provide highly specialized training, especially the simulation related courses and are currently have the only locally owned active offshore vessel simulator (with a Dynamic Positioning simulator) in Malaysia. In all, they have around 30 approved (2nd in Malaysia) and around 20 customized training courses in portfolios covering marine, ports and offshore modules. The company also has packaged training for crew intending to join international cruise ships as well as mega/super yachts. Their list of clients is impressive and includes staff from companies in Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia. Suffice to say, the training centre is well known among the marine, oil and gas stakeholders in Malaysia and its surrounding areas. In 2018, the company was presented with the "Outstanding Performance Award for Maritime Training Institution for 2018" at the Malaysia World Maritime Week 2018 Conference and Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. In 2023, it was awarded the best TVET centre (for maritime training) during the Malaysia Education & TVET Awards (META). A full client list will be transferred to the new owner, and transition training will be provided by the current owner for a period between 3-6 months, if required. This is a 'Lock, stock and barrel sale', inclusive of equipment, licenses, training materials, documentation and online certificate printing on behalf of the Government (SDPx). Profitable, turn-key and awaiting a new owner. The current owners will hand over the first Wing-In-Ground (WIG) Training Module to the buyer for Wing-In-Ground Craft Pilots (WCP) & Wing-In-Ground Craft Engineers (WCE).
